Well, I chose the Beatles. The Beatles consisted of the fab4. John Lennon (vocalist): Born October 9, 1940, died December 8, 1980. Paul McCartney (Vocalist & Guitarist): Born June 18, 1942. George Harrison (Vocalist & Guitarist): Born February 25 1943. And last, Ringo Starr (drummer): Born, July 7, 1930. Originally, they were all from Liver Pool.

You’re probably wondering how they started, right? Well, in 1956, Paul introduced George to a band Called the Quarrymen Which John Lennon sang in. George was only 14 at the time and not old enough to join the group. But a few times he filled in for the regular guitarist and gradually became a member of the band.

As to many people, there practically the greatest group in the world and of the 60's, to some people. They were one of the most famous bands in the history of pop music. I think they influenced the world by making their music become alive.

Things that were so special about them were some people think they changed the sound of pop music, because they were the first British band to write their own songs and music. Before them, most bands and singers had their own songs written for them. They are also said to have been the first real “boy-band” pin-ups. Hysterical fans followed them everywhere they performed and Beatle-mania ruled all over the world.

About their songs, they recorded 214 songs from 1962 to 1970. The Beatles are also the only group in history to have 20 songs reach number one.
But that’s not all they did, they also made 5 films called a Hard Day’s Night, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, & Let It Be.

They were devastated when they heard the poor news about the Beatles splitting up. They split up when Paul McCartney said he was leaving the band in April 1970 and on December 31, 1970, the band officially split. But it was not the end of the Beatles. Each of them went on to have very successful solo careers with. But Paul still records and performs. December 8, 1980 John Lennon was going back to his flat in New York when he was shot dead by a fan who wanted him to autograph a record. 1999 George survived a stabbing after an intruder broke into his house.

So in conclusion, the Beatles are a very serious group that were a very popular group in the 60's.
